The Human Doctor

Looking at you now,

I can see that you’re not there,

But the Family have found us,

And I wish that you would care.

Can’t you feel something?

At the edge of your mind,

That tells you you’re the Doctor,

The very last of your kind.

Why won’t you listen to me?

Why won’t trust your dreams?

Why won’t you just accept

That all is not as it seems?

As if it isn’t bad enough,

The worst can only be:

No matter what I say,

You don’t remember me.

How can you forget me?

And all that we did,

Travelling together,

Until you went and hid

Behind a mask that isn’t you,

Among people that you save.

I try to remind you,

But the Doctor that I crave

Is dead and gone forever now,

Because the watch is lost.

I can only watch and wait

As humans pay the deadly cost

And hope and pray that someday soon,

The watch I need is found.

I will open it and free you,

My Doctor at last unbound.

Jessica Payne wrote this poem for David

David,
Your smile makes my heart go all warm,
Its hard for me to think,
When your on my mind all day and night,
My heart starts to sink.

Im so madly in love with you,
I can never let you go,
I hope one day we can meet,
But then again i'll never know.

I wrote your name in the sky,
but the wind blew it away.
I wrote your name in the sand,
but the waves washed it away.
I wrote your name in my heart,
and forever it will stay.
